To Whom It May Concern:

Perhaps it is fitting that Bitter Jester Creative was founded to produce the original stage comedy troupe The Comedy Thread, and then morphed into producing -among other things- wedding montages. If anything needs a humor injection … it would be the wedding planning process.

My husband and I felt lucky to have found Nic and Dan, and learned the breadth of their interests and talents through our many hours of collaboration. We then felt doubly lucky to have such varied creativity available to us. These young men deserve the Mayor’s Award for the Arts in the business category because they epitomize the artistic, the business-like, and the local.

We were fortunate to have such talent help us … and they used every bit of themselves to make the result sparkle. True artists, they can’t help but be artistic. But they are also active members of the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce and are helping coordinate the entertainment for “Late Night HP”.

Nic and Dan are graduates of HPHS who have not fled to NYC or LA. They should be celebrated for their creative work, their business energy and their devotion to their hometown.
