There is a young filmmaker to whom I am a distant friend. His name is Nicolas DeGrazia. I respect him and his work very highly.

He has created a documentary about a candidate (Mandel) in the Highland Park, IL mayoral elections that has a lot of eyebrows raised and a lot of peoples' shorts in knots. If you get a chance to see it, please let me know.

I have nothing to do with Highland Park politics, but, from what I hear, Nic may have just become a respected/feared film-maker and a political force at one fell swoop.
