The Comic Thread was in the news again on Monday, March 19th. Our troupe was un-invited from an event called FOCUS on the Arts at Highland Park High School. BJC is proud of all our work and we completely support TCT in its current situation. It is an unfortunate turn of events and we hope this situation will be resolved quickly. In the meantime, the level of quality and care we put into each and every one of our productions, including TCT, will remain unaffected. It's official! As of January 1st, 2007, Bitter Jester Entertainment, Ltd. is no more. In its place stands the all-new Bitter Jester Creative, Inc, a company focused on the creation of high-quality personal and commercial video production and more!
Bitter Jester Creative, formerly "Bitter Jester Entertainment," has three main arms: 1) Complete media packages including video production, graphic design, communication training, & speech coaching; 2) Creative Photography; 3) Entertainment including sketch comedy, improv, and live short story readings!

There are a lot of exciting things coming in 2007. Bitter Jester's sketch comedy troupe had an awesome one-night-only performace on Saturday, August 5th in Lake Forest. With members from TCT's inagural summer of shows back in 2001, the cast was superb! Click on THEATRE for more info about TCT as well as pictures and videos from some of TCT's past shows.
This showcase show was a warmup for TCT's appearance at HPHS's upcoming FOCUS on the Arts, scheduled for April 16-19, 2007.

Working as a team in less than 24-hours for the Fast Forward Film Festival, our most recent short entitled "Dictators" placed 2nd out of approximately twenty-five on Saturday, June 17th!
The film will appear online soon under FILM > OUR SHORT FILMS. Until then, enjoy watching some of our past work!
